Hello, we had Mark out last week to install a new telephone extension for our office upstairs. After Mark got here we discussed what would work best for us, and also how to get rid of our very unreliable home network adaptors, which have always been very hit and miss. We decided to have a data cable wired direct into our SKY box from the new office location, and not a hickup since. We also thought our infinity connection was fine, right upto the point Mark had finished, our speed suddenly went from 16meg to 63meg!! I don't what what he's done but he seems to have the Midas touch. Very clean and neat (picture enclosed).

When your in the marketplace to have your system given the once over or sorted out, there is a smashing lad by the name of Mark over in Mosborough who knows his telecom stuff. Both my son, Scott, and myself have used his services and we were totally satisfied with his efforts on our behalf. . Marks rate is a lot less than that of BT's and the guys knowledge on the subject will be much greater than the Openreach guy who turns up at the door. Right then, new dish and LNB installed by Walker Telecoms yesterday morning and now full service restored to both old sat box and new freesat box.
Excellent service from Mark, quoted a good price, turned up when agreed ( means a lot in this day and age that ) and sorted out that meddling dish and LNB.
Same here,was not getting quite a few channels and some were breaking up in rainy weather.
Gave Mark a call and he sorted everything, can't recommend him highly enough. Excellent service and very competitive price.

One question I wanted to ask you. When you were over at our house, you mentioned something about a BT i-plate. Would my connection benefit from fitting one of these? I've read that it filters the bell wire out, and could increase the download speed. What do you think? It looks easy enough to fit, even with my limited DIY skills.

Thanks for coming round today for my two new Master Sockets.
After an initial chat with BT they then gave me the price. Later that afternoon, as my husband was picking me up off the floor, I phoned them again to plead my case to which I was told "why not just find a local engineer", fine I will. After mooching through the net I found Mark on Gumtree, gave him a bell, and let's just say after a thorough good going over the job was done and my purse was oh so slightly lighter. Mark saved me £400, a service I hope in the future others will match, but somehow doubt.

Apologies for delay in contacting you - as you know I've been on hol. Just wanted to thank you very much for trying to sort out my Mum's telephone problems at such short notice - she was extremely grateful even though you couldn't fix the problem. The key thing was that you were able to identify that it was a line fault as opposed to internal which was a great help as we were able to challenge BT. BT was very inefficient in dealing with this problem. Despite giving assurances on Thursday (following your visit), that the line would definitely be working at the very latest by Friday evening - BT didn't manage to fix the problem until late afternoon Monday 03/11/08. They really were lacking in customer care as they didn't correspond with my Mum or send an engineer to check or explain the problems. I think BT have too much of a monopoly and forget that not everyone has alternative means of communication such as mobiles, internet/email facilities, etc + the lack of public telephone boxes. Anyway, that's another problem crossed of my list! Once again - thanks very much; I will definitely recommend you to family, friends and colleagues .
